for the past two weeks i have been racking my brain as to what concept to use for my hotel management and culinary school. originally i was gaining inspiration for the concept for the "seed" and it symbolizing the start of a new beginnings, growth, aspiration and maturing. i then narrowed it down to the acorn which is the oak tree seed and it is the "fruits" of the tree.
be happy, be proud, be brave, be strong, be diabolical, be exciting, be adventurous, be kind, be thoughtful... be the best version of yourself you possibly can be.

inspiration for the bakery component
recently i have been looking into the type of atmosphere i wish to create for the bakery component of my re-use. i stumbled across a interesting little cafe set in a factory in durban. the trusses are exposed, the interior is ruff and raw. decor features old coffee bean grinders, the interior is simple yet effective, creating a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
